Welcome to Youforia — wedding and elopement videography and photography, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We’re not just here to film your day — we’re here to feel it with you, to document the sparks, the laughter, the softest glances and loudest cheers in a way that’s both cinematic and true to you. 

At the heart of Youforia are Christopher and Sofía, real-life partners and creative collaborators who believe that your love story deserves to be told with depth, care, and a whole lot of heart.

Christopher is the creative soul behind many of our most moving shots — a deeply passionate, romantic storyteller with an instinct for emotion and timing. He never misses a moment, big or small. Whether it’s a quiet hand squeeze before the ceremony or the joyful chaos of the dance floor, he sees what matters and captures it with intention. Christopher’s work is known to stir genuine emotion — often bringing people to tears with films that don’t just show your wedding, but make you feel it all over again. His gift lies in capturing the essence of people, and he does it with kindness, focus, and a relentless dedication to getting it just right.

Sofía is not only behind the camera — she’s behind the rhythm of your day. As a talented videographer, she brings a sharp creative eye to every frame, with a focus on making things look and feel effortlessly beautiful. Her background in event coordination and wedding planning means she understands how to make things flow smoothly — keeping everyone relaxed, on track, and in the moment. Sofía has a natural warmth that puts people at ease, and she’s especially gifted at spotting the small, meaningful details that elevate your film into something uniquely you. She also keeps a list of her favourite local vendors, so if you need a florist, makeup artist, or a dreamy venue suggestion, she’s your go-to.
